All our ties are hand rolled. Hand rolling is a time intensive and laborious art. At Bigi in Milan, skilled artisans roll and stitch the tip of every Slubby Savant tie by hand.  It certainly is not the quickest or cheapest option, but the best things in life never are. 

We avoid the traditional, shiny, and polished silks that have long defined the neckwear. Instead ,we embrace the character of  shantung silks and coarse cashmeres. These fibers have natural irregularities, increasing their versatility, and making them each a unique piece of art.
